New galleries will be added regularly. My latest photographic trips included Prague, in the Czec Republic, Britanny in the west of France and California, all in 2009 and early 2010. Any of the color images you see here can be produced in black&white. In many of the photographs you will find in the following galleries, I have tried to photograph small corners of life that, had they not been photographed, probably wouldn't otherwise be seen. In others, maybe it was the essence of light and shadow that attracted attention, as with that dark, stormy sky just before the rays of the sun are blocked out producing a scene of beautiful contrasts. The salon participates in the community's "First Thursdays" as each first Thursday of the month, businesses along Centre and South Streets are transformed into galleries featuring works from local artists. Open receptions at each location offer a chance to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.
